My life in the 2000s, a list
I graduated high school
Moved to Boston (for the first time)
Started college at Boston College where I knew one
Made friends from north of the Mason-Dixon
9/11 happened and I flew home a month later
Tried to transfer to UT, couldn’t
Made more yankee friends and a few southern ones
Lived through my first blizzard, and then 20 more
The Spurs won a few NBA championships

i don’t feel so, so sick anymore. and i want to eat more. but i’m nervous. being sick is the worst.
maybe just a 12 hour bug? yeah. that’d be great. i hope its gone now.
this week is supposed to be fun! and productive! not sickly! my 2009 was pretty ok and i really want it to end nicely. please, please, please.

i’m sitting in the gate area where they just announced that a flight to orange county is boarding.
even before they announced that i was thinking, wow - this dude is greasy like slade! and this lady is dressed far too slutty for her age (knee high boots, short plaid mini, etc.). duh- it’s cos they’re RHOC, for REAL.
wish i could teleport to boston right now instead of waiting...

Ran into my 11th grade roommate at the mall
We weren’t talking to eachother by the end of that year. But it’s been 10 years, I’m over it. I hugged her and she acted weird. As usual.
She does have 3 cute kids now, so that’s good.
Being home is weird.
Christmas day dinner:
Latkes fried in bacon grease and Mexican mac and cheese.
We’re so multicultural. And lacking in vegetables.

a few weeks ago it was super rainy and gross out right when everyone (like 2k ppl on one tiny road) was leaving work. at one point the guy in front of my slammed on his breaks and i slammed mine a few seconds too late and my car slid into his.

I get annoyed by all the stress and calculations that go into gift giving around the holidays. The tit-for-tat of ‘she gave me a gift so now I have to give her something better,’ or in my case the – ‘I make more money than them so I can’t spend too much because I know they cant spend as much and don’t want to hurt their feelings or insult someone’.
